In 2022, Amerindia Films completed and released REGRESAR AL FINAL, which has become the most awarded Chilean films of the year
(17 prizes + 3 nominations)
and a highly recognized work of director Letelier.
The film was shot in 2020 and 2021during the national pandemic lockdown.
In 2020, director Letelier revised the original footage of El Destello de la Luna and edited a longer more emotional version titled
SHINING MOON DIRECTOR'S CUT, which was highly awarded
in international festivals.
In 2022 it is being released in most key streaming international platforms.
In 2019, director Letelier made his award winning feature film: PELÍCANO. which received 9 awards and 15 nominations. It was theatrically released in Berlin and Chile.
Since then it's available in most key streaming platforms.

In 2015, after a long pause when director Letelier dedicated his time mostly to academic projects, he started to make films again and Amerindia Films came back to life once again.
Since then, the company has produced and release award winning feature films. International coproductions have been achieved for these movies.
In 2018 EL DESTELLO DE LA LUNA was theatrically released in New York and since then it's available in most key international streaming platforms.
In 2023, Amerindia Films is releasing the uncensored complete version of the opera prima by director Gustavo Letelier, originally shot back in 1994 and censored by the governmental offices and media upon the return of the democracy in Chile.
The film is a satire that presents a comic criticism about the moral values of the society of that time.
